So browsing this afternoon, I stumbled accross Evans’ SS10 PR shots and… wow, I’m actually in awe! Every major trend seen on the runway during the major fashion weeks has been translated here. I’m actually salivating!
I’m going to post the small preview shots with the logo that are available on the site – if anyone from prshots.com sees this and would like me to take them down, contact me and I will do so. But the clothes look this good, I can’t keep them to myself! Behold, my favourites:
Inspired by Christopher Kane’s collection.
Straight out of Balmain! As a fully paid up member of Balmania, I screamed when I saw this!
This references a lot of the farmyard and prairie-girl looks that were seen at places like D&G, Alex Wang, Chanel etc. I don’t normally like denim but this is too cute!
Ahhhh! You can see the full selection here: http://www.prshots.com/Evans/Images.aspx What are your favourite pieces?

I LOVE the dresses in the pics 2nd & 3rd from the bottom. Wow – I’d have never thought to shop in Evans either, I’m really excited to see this stuff released. Any idea on a date for in-store?

I have no idea, but I will definitely let you know when they do!

Oh my, that gingham dress is CUTE.

I seriously want every jacket! They are all so perfect!
Evans is really starting off the new year w/ a bang!
love it!

oo I’ve never seen anything like this before. I’ve just been nosying through everything and oh my the shoes are some of the best I’ve seen from Evans. I need a pair of their gladiators in my life.
http://www.prshots.com/Archive/preview.aspx?id=121664&KeepThis=true&TB_iframe=true&height=436&width=400 – this is by far my favourite piece, I love everything about it.
There’s some amazing jackets/blazers/waistcoats and the print dresses are fab too. I could go on but I love almost everything!

I reeeeeally dislike gladiator sandals so I probably will be steering clear of those but yeah, so much of it is really well done. I’m very very impressed!

I already have way too many jackets but I need the Balmain one. It is so beautiful!

Evans is really really improving their range! I hope ordering very soon and hope seeing you in those clothes ASAP!

They really are – I was saying on musings of a fatshionista how they’d occasionally featured one vaguely on trend top here or there, but NOTHING like this, it’s great!
And yeah hopefully I can get hold of some of this stuff! Thanks dear :D

OMFG. That jacket, 2nd one down, and the floral dress! I am really loving Evans atm.

THAT BLAZER.
Also, the blazer in the gallery that’s really military/sailor? I NEED IT.
I saw the preview of this line a while ago and was pretty unimpressed, but seeing the singular items yourself and other fat bloggers have linked makes me swoon for it. Better start saving up because I think this line will sell out as fast as hell :o
January 31, 2010 at 4:28 pm |
Me too! Especially as I think a lot of these items could work in a more conservative look, whereas the Beth Ditto line was far too “out there” for a lot of Evans’ customers. So yeah, competition at the ready! :D
And yes I missed out the military blazer, but it’s BEAUTIFUL!

Oops, used my wrong alias above. It’s Devon from fat-nurse :D ^ Pyratus is my non-fatshion blog so ignore that :P

Thanks for the preview! I am quite looking forward to some of these, particularly the gingham dress! I’ve posted about my fabourites here: http://cupcakesclothes.blogspot.com/, in case you wanted to take a look.
